Doctor and Hospital Networks

We understand it's important for you to keep seeing your current doctors or specialists. Via Benefits Insurance Services can tell you if your preferred doctors participate in the plans that interest you.
When choosing a new health plan, you may want to consider whether your preferred providers (e.g., doctors, hospitals) are in the plan's network. We suggest you Sign In or Sign Up with Via Benefits and complete your Personal Profile.

When you complete your profile and provide your preferred doctors’ information, the Shop & Compare feature can show you which of your doctors are in network for a plan.

You may also contact us to find out which doctors are in network for the plans that interest you. It's always a good idea to talk to your doctors ahead of time and ask which Medicare plans they accept. Whether you can continue to see your current doctors depends on the plan you choose. Keep in mind, you may discover plans in which your doctor doesn't participate that may better fit your needs and budget. Via Benefits is here to help you evaluate your options.

Medicare Advantage plans each have their own network. Some plans may allow you to see doctors who are out of network at a higher copay or coinsurance amount, while others don't. Clinics, radiology centers, and labs can also be in or out of network. If you have a strong preference for certain providers, make sure they're in network for the insurance plan you purchase. To avoid having a provider network, you may choose to enroll in a Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy to use with Original Medicare.
